got into college yesterday. what can i say. it looks pretty good so far. had my 1st class earlier in the day. it was biochemistry. it looks easy for now but as i continue to read on my god...this is gonna be a tough course. from my dorm to my class, it takes about 10 mins of walking. oh my god...im all tired cuz the hill to my dorm is damn steep. ill be having calculus and geology l8er tonite.

this college is actually pretty good but i think i prefer isy more. i dont speak any english here although everything im learning is in english. i miss ma frenz but at the same time im making new ones. well..lets jez see how it goes for another few days. summer is gonna be over in a month. damn~oh and my bday is on sunday and aiii..gonna celebrate it while having a class....great life huh?

these days, my morning routine would be waking up late at 9 (after watching the confederations cup live on tv) and then watch the nba playoff final between spurs and pistons. well sincerely speaking, after watching the spurs lead 2-0 in the first 2 games, i thought the pistons was down and buried. bye bye champs!

BUT suddenly the pistons found new hope and won the spurs in the 3rd game and recently also in the 4th game by the score of 102-71! crazy aint it? considering spurs great defence stats in the post-season. now the series is tied 2-2. but i have the feeling that spurs will come back stronger next time around. soo dont be too over confident piston's fans.

and right now, the confederation cups are going on in germany. it is a soccer tournament where the euro champ, world champ, etc. gather and play each other. yesterday argentina won tunisia 2-1, germany won australia 4-3 and today brazil won greece 3-0 and mexico won japan 2-1.

i guess im becoming a sport analyst now. it is a fun job. anyway im going to california next week. my usual summer routine to the states. then ill come back, get my ass into the freaking college and start studying again. a short summer i guess but hey as joon would say c'est la vie (is that how u say it in french??)

One day a father of a very wealthy family took his
son on a trip to the country with the firm purpose of
showing his son how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the
farm of what would be considered a very poor
family. On their return from their trip, the father
asked his son, "How was the trip?" "It was great,
Dad." "Did you see how poor people live?" the
father asked. "Oh yeah," said the son.

"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?"
asked the father. The son answered: "I saw that
we have one dog and they had four. We have a
pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and
they have a creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they
have the stars at night. Our patio reaches to the
front yard and they have the whole horizon. We
have a small piece of land to live on and they have
fields that go beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve
others. We buy our food, but they grow theirs. We
have walls around our property to protect us, they
have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless. Then his son
added, "Thanks, Dad, forshowing me how poor we
are."
